Meet Jumelle Aesthetics.
The Duo.
Melanie found her love of makeup in middle school. She remembers playing around and trying out the first makeup kit she ever got. She quickly went to work trying to utilize every color in the kit on her eyes. Though she still does this to a degree, she’s learned how to properly layer and choose coordinating colors throughout the years with trial and error and makeup artist certification – thank god! She’s proud of the work she does and can’t wait to make you look your best for your special day! If she’s not doing makeup, she’s usually working the 9 to 5 as an Account Manager for a staffing company, eating Taco Bell, golfing, or snuggling her fur child.
Growing up, Melissa was always trying to put on makeup. She started at a young age trying daring looks and expanding her knowledge on makeup and its potential to transform. Melissa has always enjoyed making her friends and family push their makeup boundaries, challenging them to try a new and exciting looks. Even though she loved makeup, she never thought it would be something she would ever get to do professionally. After deciding to pursue her passion with makeup, she completed the process to become a certified makeup artist. Cosmetics is not her only career path, as she spends most of her time teaching individuals how to do blood donation procedures. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her husband, who is a musician. She can be found at many of his gigs listening to live music.
